Kinda arty, kinda gory.
Review : WHITE WIZZARD – “Over The Top”White Wizzard has lived for three tumultuous years, on a quest to restore truth to the world of Metal. The band harks back some thirty years to the inception of the NWOBHM movement, channeling major players like Iron Maiden and Motörhead, in an effort to forge a sound of their own. While they certainly have the passion and the chops, only half of this debut full-length is strong enough to stand on its own. However, if White Wizzard can keep it together, I suspect monumental growth in the future. |

Review : DEMON HUNTER – “The World Is A Thorn”I was initially impressed to see that Demon Hunter called on famed artist Dan Seagrave to illustrate the artwork for The World Is A Thorn, and then predictably disappointed as I trudged through the fifth album from Seattle’s most prominent Christian Metal quintet |
Review : God of War® : Blood & MetalThis EP is by no means a necessary purchase, and I doubt fans of the game will be wowed into another dimension with the accuracy and depth of the accompanying musical journey; it is simply cross-promotion. If any of the bands interest you, drop a buck and download. |

Review : DROIDS ATTACK – “Must Destroy”A well-crafted album that has solid instrumentation and humorous lyrics. Sometimes, it’s best to not take yourself too seriously and Droids Attack excels with Must Destroy. |
Review : FREE REIGN – “Tragedy”All in all, it’s certainly better than the “Super Bowl Shuffle” but they have a long way to go to find their niche. May I suggest trading in the pigskin for instruments full-time? |
