Interview: Andreas Kisser, SEPULTURA

I finally caught up with the Brazilian guitar giant, Andreas Kisser of Sepultura! One of my most brutal metal letdowns was the loss of an interview with this man some three years ago, when we spoke about their then-latest album Dante XXI, based on Dante’s Divine Comedy. I am proud to share my redemption interview with you all! Their most recent album, A-Lex, is yet another concept album based on a novel (Anthony Burgess’ A Clockwork Orange). Not only that, Andreas released his first solo effort, Hubris I & II, this year via Mascot Records and has been further broadening Sepultura‘s sonic palette with bossa nova.  We touch on these topics and more, so listen!
