Jason Netherton, founding member of Misery Index, called in to “Mind Over Metal” this past week for the second time in the show’s history.  We obviously talk about the latest album (last time it was Traitors, now it’s Heirs to Theivery), but delve a bit deeper, exploring MP3 culture and current consumption trends, as well as the story behind the Japanese bonus track, “The Devil’s Onion Ring”. The one thing I wish I asked––which would have tied everything together nicely––is how he feels the American legacy of perceived entitlement affects current attitudes, particularly regarding music.  Feel free to discuss amongst yourselves!
