You guys heard of Leprous? In my ears, they’re one of the best things coming out of Norway these days. Proggy, experimental, backed up fucking Ihsahn—I gave them a pretty positive review (back when those actually began to take shape into paragraph form in 2009).
So InsideOut has picked them up. They’re a German label who handle bands like Spiritual Beggars, Star One, the Devin Townsend Project. An as-yet-untitled sophomore album is forthcoming from the quintet in 2011. All you folks tuning in from Japan can catch them on the two scheduled dates below, at the Kabuto Music Festival. There are a bunch of links for you to check out, too. And no, I absolutely do not understand what is going on in that picture. It looks like the guy in front is acting as a surrogate stoup for the others to cleanse themselves, but as for deeper meaning—your guess is as good as mine.
