Today, The Ajna Offensive announces May 11th as the release date for NIGHTBRINGER’s highly anticipated second album, Apocalypse Sun. Having delivered 2008′s monumental Death and the Black Work, NIGHTBRINGER remains one of the last few malicious black metal entities on US soil. Adverse esoteric black metal, complex in its approach and furiously executed, Apocalypse Sun delivers ten igneous tracks of alchemical darkness. Annihilation and revelation, not as two separate concepts but as one monumental and terrible instance, that of death and rebirth in a single action:  Apocalypse Sun is bound to burst forth from the underground and illuminate the (left hand) path forward.
