News : SATAN’S HOST Original Vocalist Returns

SATAN’S HOST welcomes back Leviathan Thisiren (AKA Harry Conklin – Jag Panzer/Titan Force) back into the Grotto. The group has upcoming appearances on March 27 @ Club Inferno @ PT’s in Denver, Colorado, and at the Keep It True festival in Koenigshofen, Germany on April 23. Due to the large cult following for the 1986 debut album Metal From Hell and 1987 bootlegged unreleased Midnight Wind,  virtuoso guitarist and founder Patrick Evil states, “The idea for a reunion with Harry has been building up for a number of years. I felt that this was the right time to go ahead with it. Me and Harry have felt that we had unfinished business to attend to, and we’re heading full force!” Along with drummer Anthony Lopez and bassist Margar, the group has been in pre-production for the upcoming release featuring Harry on vocals, scheduled to be released by MORIBUND RECORDS during the summer/fall of 2010. The band is going into Flatline Studio with super-producer Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage, Martriden) in July.

Power~Purity~Perfection…999, which was released by MORIBUND last October and was produced by Dave Otero, has been well received around the world and has gained high rank within the metal world, with many outstanding reviews for the effort. “The new material is in the same vein as PPP…999 but a bit more explosive and surprising,” says Anthony Lopez. ”We’ve added some very interesting twists to the music and the concept. Pat is a cornucopia of Evil Music, and regardless what has been said or stated in the past, he has always been the stronghold of the music and the lifeforce of SATAN’S HOST.”

SATAN’S HOST also has a new DVD, Assault of Evil…666, slated for release on April 13, 2010 via MORIBUND, which features the Great American Scapegoat tour ’08. Bonus material includes performances from the last two decades and the band’s Samhain 2009 show.
