Review : FOZZY – “Chasing The Grail”

Fozzy endured many factors working against them. The band’s original mock past came complete with silly pseudonyms and “stolen” songs (which were actually covers), which gave an air of illegitimacy. But clearly, Fozzy now seeks to expand.

Review : SHINING – “Blackjazz”

In the past, fusing jazz and metal has proven to be a melodic, complex form of technical death metal. Floridian acts like Cynic and Atheist really defined this movement. Review : PRIESTESS – “Prior to the Fire”

If I could describe this album in only a few words, I would call it Black Sabbath on steroids. Plus we dig deep into Dino’s fears, exploring what he has overcome and what he’ll never let happen again.
