This is no party album, people—these are mediations in the key of despair, and I would not have it any other way. While this record feels like a vast improvement for Tombs, it’s not the sound of a band that has run out of ideas; in fact, it’s the sound of a band developing into its own entity.

Interview : Roger Miret, AGNOSTIC FRONT / THE DISASTERS5 great questions with Roger Miret by Brad Barratt! Read all about the new release from The Disasters, as well as updates on Agnostic Front, who is recording their new one with Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, ex-Morbid Angel) at Mana Studios, with Madball’s Freddy Cricien producing. |

Review : PRO-PAIN – “Absolute Power”Rating: 3.5/5 It may take a while for one to find nuances in this album but it is well worth the listen. This is my first exposure to Pro-Pain and it was a pleasant surprise. |
Review : Infectious Grooves & Cyco Miko – “Funk It Up & Punk It Up: Live in France ‘95″Rating: 2.5/5 This is a special live release from Infectious Grooves and Cyco Miko, which are technically the same people but with a slightly different style. The sound quality could be better but otherwise, an interesting set to review. |
