“War Pigs” set me down a ranting road, where I compare Black Sabbath to Drowning Pool (mostly in name) and then gush a little about ‘Vol. 4′.

It arrived on YouTube about a week ago, and BraveWords just dropped the news (thanks, dudes). I went and got myself excited, because even though I reviewed “Seeing Eye Dog” a year ago, I don’t recall seeing a proper official video until now.

The first year of the Metalliance Tour is sure to be a crusher. It isn’t a trifecta of monolithic doom now that High on Fire will not take part, but I’m sure Helmet will satisfy.

Intronaut’s new album, “Valley of Smoke”, is due out October 12, and Helmet’s “Seeing Eye Dog” is currently available. Follow the link for a behind-the-scenes video that shows Intronaut creating an epic instrumental for that album!

Helmet feels more ‘back’ than ever before, though I do not support the sdrawkcab printing of lyrics, guys. That’s just a pain in the ass. I mean, was Page Hamilton born annoying or something? Oh, wait….

I hate to do this to my East Coast peoples, but they ain’t coming around here. The tour kicks off on Wednesday September 8th in Sacramento, CA at Harlow’s Night Club, and wraps up on Sunday September 26th at BriXton in Redondo Beach, CA. But if you’re out there….
