“Rekreatur”, or ‘recreation’ is a slightly deceiving name for the album. Though a solid and enjoyable listen, it sounds like an extended version of “Sagas”, except maybe with slightly less passion.

Altogether, “Mulmets Viser” is impressive considering the circumstances. I can see a lot of rising potential with this group in albums to come. Cheers!

The combination of the folky flutes/bagpipes with the Motörhead-style vocals and thrash metal riffs is quite enjoyable. And of course, like any true folk band, their tunes are worthy of jigs and pint- swigging, which makes it all the more fun to listen to.

“Fantasy” metal. This album would be better suited for “Dragons on Ice,” or something involving mythical woodland creatures, than for headbanging metalheads.
