This really is a beautiful and powerful statement from Nergal. His main goal throughout this trying time is to raise awareness about the bone marrow donation registry, not draw attention to his situation alone. However, most intriguing was his earnest reply to everyone suggesting that he may now turn to God, in what may be his final days. Having just watched ‘Religulous’ last night, I was grateful to read: “So, I say to those, who see some chances to break my rules, and myself because of the illness: over my dead body!”

BEHEMOTH leader Nergal has just found out he needs a marrow transplant to fight his recently-diagnosed leukemia. In light of this, he wants to remind everyone about the need to be on the marrow registry. The more people get tested and donate, the more of a chance for life there is for him and people in the same situation.
