Oh yeah, not only is HULL opening for PENTAGRAM, but both bands should have new albums in 2011. Thanks to Earsplit and MetalSucks for the two-pronged update!

As I post this, I’m watching “The Happening” with RiffTrax. Looking at Nails’ album art, all I want to say is ‘THAT’S how trees are supposed to kill people!’ … and this music sounds badass, by the way. From the press release:

“Nails’ music is beyond brutality; filthy, vicious and raw. Imagine a cross between the good Amrep bands of the nineties (Helmet, Hammerhead, Today is The Day, Unsane) and Cro-Mags “Age of Quarrel” riffage played at breakneck speeds.”

“Bloody Pit of Horror” is due out this fall on Metal Blade Records. And the GWAR-B-Que returns to Richmond!

I was really impressed with their 2007 EP, “A Symphony of Suffering”. All the axemen have been replaced, so it will be interesting to hear how the as-yet-unnamed album will turn out. A summer release is expected.
