Yeah, that’s a bald-faced lie… but everything else in this interview is wicked sincere. Through harrowing tribulation and self-discovery, Selim feels his work now serves a higher purpose. I have enjoyed The Devil’s Blood so far, but have always wondered if they REALLY love Satan. Here, their allegiance to The Light-Bringer is clear. I dig their stop-motion animation, and it looks like they are covered in almost as much blood as WATAIN for live performances (almost). It’s a short, two minute introduction, so you should really watch. Know this band.

Overall, this a very fun CD and if you’re familiar with the roots of metal and want something that will take you back, this album is a good place to start.
