The new theme for MindOverMetal.org is SUFFUSION and I am so excited! It has all kinds of potential, and has already helped me organize in terms of both speed and presentation. The site is in the middle of a metamorphosis. I thank you all for continuing to visit, support, and contribute to MindOverMetal.org!

Hails! The main DreamHost server that connects MindOverMetal.org to us all went down for about 24 hours. Kinda sucked, a bit confusing, but it made me examine things. I have converted to VPS in trial mode to see how it works. I did a manual backup of the site. And I’m considering site mirrors. Eh, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself. Maybe….

Hails! So I got more and more sick of Pixel from the moment I installed it. A step in the right direction in terms of color scheme, yes, but not as functional as I need. It was gone in 10 days. Station on the other hand, appears to be teh balls. I’m strongly considering buying its premium big brother for $75, which will unleash a slew of greater capabilities. I already dig the color scheme, buttons and a score of other things. Hope you all feel the same!

Keeping time with everything else in the our Web 2.0 world, MindOverMetal.org is in perpetual beta. I’ve desired a darker theme for some time now, and have settled with Pixel (for now). Enjoy!

Ohhh, it’s on.  Though there is still some old stuff I gotta dredge up, there should be no more new pix and vids from the PowerShot A640.  The versatile D90 is my new weapon of choice, which will bring better quality photos and HD video to Mind Over Metal. Hails!

YAY! So we were down for a day, but now MindOverMetal.org is solidified in the address bar and there’s a gravatar in there, too.  That logo and the splash page (which I gotta figure back in somehow) were designed by Keenan Bouchard.  He is also working on “Mind Over Metal” lettering to crown the top.  I’m also proud to announce that AWAY from VOIVOD has agreed to do the same!  I’m excited to see what they come up with … hope you are too! Okay, so most of the basic stuff is taken care of now: site relocation, splash page, relinking content, blah blah blah … there is still much to be done … I’m sure you will notice how the Reviews page is rather premature, the Pictures page is not what I envisioned, and the Interviews need better organization … but what’s important is that it’s UP … and it just gets better from here, folks ….
